Dosage: To prepare an infusion, boil a cup of water and then add 1-2 teaspoons of milk thistle and let it steep for 10 minutes. Strain and drink up to three times a day. Precautions: Milk thistle is generally a safe herb but excessive consumption may cause diarrhea, stomach problems, allergic reactions in people allergic to plants belonging to the same family (for example, ragweed, chrysanthemum, calendula, and daisy).
